Screen maniacs - Wanted 2.0

Video scenography, dramaturgy and body come together in a work of physical theater where the 2D of the projections is added to the live "3D" of the actor-acrobats with a truly unprecedented result.

The interrelation between the video projections, animations designed by Francesca Ruggieri, and our vertical acrobatics is the fulcrum of the show.

Enraptured by a fascinating yet devious screen, the two protagonists of this "vertical action show" undertake a journey/adventure full of nonsense and comical lapses between crazy desktops, vintage video games, breathtaking landscapes and apocalyptic scenarios.
Constantly on the run through the depths of the computer's bios, they climb tall buildings, jump between rooftops and dive into the oceans!

The first version, with hundreds of performances, toured festivals in half of Europe, and Russia, Korea, China, Taiwan and the US.

The new version, freshly baked thanks to the collaboration with the performer Silvia Proietti, has already been at KUWO in Germany, at the Pozytywka festiwal in Poland, at the contemporary circus festival Lunathica in Torino, Cantieri Creativi in Genova, Lonato in Festival and Tirano.

STORY

An eccentric boomer wanders among the audience looking for a young friend he can't find... But he knows where she is, she's always there, with her eyes inside the screen! He thinks he knows how to distract her from the video and bring her back to the real world but, in her attempt, he too becomes completely absorbed. At the mercy of the operating system, the two drag each other deeper and deeper into the bowels of the computer, captured, enchanted, crazy... real screen maniacs!
